The digital brief from Thresher’s Christmas campaign involved co-ordinating a 40% off email voucher campaign in conjunction with a series of online advertising campaigns. We were set to improve on past performance and achieve a set sales target for the leading alcohol retailers whilst increasing awareness of the promotional competition.

The email campaign targeted a customer base of approximately 60,000 and further expanded reaching a much wider audience as the 40% off voucher system successfully spread virally.

Other online advertising activity included campaign space across the main Thresher website, display advertising across social networking portals such as facebook and third party websites and also exposure across a series of online forums.

The Christmas campaign was a record success! It successfully achieved more than 100% of target by delivering double the original sales target set. The online advertising activity proved to be equally as impressive attracting more than 41,000 new sign ups to the Thresher contact database.
